Reflection after edit is finished
i have just finished the edit for my video along with everything that i need to add to my website for my final presentation and also the website itself. i used wix this year instead of wordpress as i wanted to make sure that i was in full control of all of my blog posts instead of doing what i did last year and simply tag up items and hope that they fall where i want them too with the tumblr import. i am happy with the look and layout of my website and i have been able to get all my evidence and writing on here which is going to hopefully make sure that i can secure my distinction grade
Comparing my FMP to last years this year has gone so much easier I’ve managed to eliminate a lot of variables and things that last time caused me so many problems whilst creating a video I’m happy to showcase to others and to showcase my own work that follows a theme and features post production effects also visual effects with the use of fake blood as well as using a green-screen and a whole sets worth of filming equipment with everything from boom mics to external records along with using my own studio equipment at home to record the track and having friends help mix and master it soo it’s ready to use for my final project and my final music video and overall I’m incredibly happy with it. The fact that I decided to shoot in a studio this time round instead of outside in multiple different locations had benefited me a lot more as I don’t have to rely on getting to places like I did in my last FMP and that I’m able to just shoot at college during college hours with no issues. as well as this me being the only one to feature in the video meant that I could simply shoot the video with just me and one another person which before wasn’t possible as I would have to arrange evenings to shoot outside of college with a few people and it become a big problem especially when people ended up dropping it or couldn’t make it to the shoots. As well as the overall look and theme of the video it’s stuck to one thing this time instead of me just showcasing all these visual effects that I can do and have learn to do its set into a stage as such with the old crts and the editing is mainly rotoscoping , ultra keying and the use of adjustment layers key framing audio and video as well as apply overall filters to the final product. It’s benefited me a lot more to have it structured like this and I’m happy that it follows something compared to last time. The music itself for me is a lot better in my own opinion it’s a beat that I felt like I was able to work with well and felt very comfortable the flow and the way I sound on it fits perfectly from my own point of view and what I was told when my friend mastered it and just the whole project to me in general is something I’m proud of which for me to have made something about my own problems I’m suffering about a rising problem for my generation and that many of my peers like and enjoy is amazing feeling.
