First tv studio visit to get ideas for music video
This is all from the first time that I went to see my mates project in the tv studio and this i what I used to gather ideas on what I could then use this installation for
Schoolboy q recently dropped an album the Friday just gone and one of the tracks on the album gave me some inspiration for a different idea for my track as i was going to use the instrumental from this song (if i could get it) and then the song would allow me to be able to switch up what im doing when it comes to the track as i would be singing and rapping on the same track as thats what Kid cudi and schoolboy q are both doing on this track. the idea was there for me however still to this point i have been unable to find the instrumental for this track and i even tried to turn the track itself into a instrumental by stripping the vocals from it with the use of a youtube tutorial and a audio recording and editing programme called audacity. (i used this youtube video to see if it would work
However after testing this it ended up sounding horrible and not at all what i wanted as shown in the video below however it was an idea that i had which would of allowed me to have a different approach for my track. the song that i was going to use the instrumental from was ScHoolboy Q - Dangerous (feat. Kid Cudi)-
Trying to create my own instrumental
The track that I was looking for to use for my FMP has finally been reproduced by someone therefore meaning I can use this instrumental for my FMP which I I’m am very happy about. ( in the end i didnt end up using this instrumental as i didnt like how it sounded compared to the original track and also i found something that suited my style a lot better.

Evidence of editing the blur glow effect
I wanted to test out some dreamy glow effects to see what they would look like on some of the footage that i already have even though it may have not been the best footage for this type of effect its allowed me to see what it would look like on some of my footage and it would look a lot better in a fluorescent lit environment i originally got the idea from the travis scott goosebumps video and overall i can see a lot of opportunity for this adjustment layer effect if used properly so hopefully i will be able to put it to use in my project.
Preparation for FMP
When it comes to filming my portfolio i use a canon c100 with a black magic video assist in the green screen studio along with a led lights and 2 redheads and a boom mic. This was not the first time that i have used this equipment for a project and i made sure that for my specialist study before this project in which i tied in with a task set in order to get into one of my universities i decide it would be a good idea to learn to use all of this equipment before hand so that when it comes round to the FMP i knew what to do without any problems . here is the like to the work that i have previously done in prep for this in order to test out the same equipment and environment that i knew i would be using for my final project.
