Final video issue
This is my first edit of the video and I decided I wasn’t fully happy with the overall look for it so I decided to add a vintage overlay and play around with it a bit more in software that I have and the official link for the video is the outcome which I’m incredibly happy with overall compared to this copy of the video below.
Computer blue screening
When using after effects in order to rotobrush our the tv screens for the footage what I wanted to edit into them I ran into this problem once or twice which was incredibly annoying to deal with as my computer had to fully restart due o the blue screen and even with 16gb of ddr4 ram my computer struggled a lot I think it was mainly due to the 10bit 4:2:2 footage that it was trying to work with and also having to change the comp settings to 50fps in order to utilise the rotobrush tool caused a lot of problems.
i originally got this idea for the inglorious music video by slowthai ft skepta, that i was going to mask a black bar over my eyes for the footage as it also linked in with the theme of the song title "no face no feelings" as the bars was going to mask my identity however when i tracked the bars to my face for this footage i didn't like the overall look of this and it certainly didn't play out how i wanted it too soo instead i decided to use just the footage that i recorded of my mouth and eyes for most of the scenes on my track and then a few used recordings from the 1st filming session and would have the tv in the way of my face or my eyes completely blacked out.
overall i am happy with the outcome of the video in the end and im glad i didn't go with the black bars as it for long periods of time wouldnt have looked good on my video
Motion tracked black bars problem
Playing edited video via Rasberry Pi
We ran into a few problems when filming in the studio as the raspberry Pi that was plugged into the monitors was unable to play the footage I had prepared therefore we had to play the footage of a laptop screen and then record it too tape and then run it through the screens and overall it gave it a better effect when it came to the distortion of the footage and other weird variables that were able to happen to the footage due to this problem.

Grill moulds slipping out
When it came to shooting the video the grills that I used kept falling out of my mouth halfway through the song meaning that I had to cut some of the recordings into multiple sections to avoid them falling out on the video or when it post they fall out use a transition of have an effect over the top so it’s like it never happened I am very happy with how my work around played out as I originally though when shooting I was going to have to take them out and not be able to use them for my whole project.
No Green screen
On Tuesday morning i shot 2 scenes for my music video and there was a big problems with the fact that there was no green screen but I managed to get around that by creating a set up against the white wall of the studio and I’m very happy with the footage I’ve come out with for these parts of the videos that I hope I’m going to use for the final edit.
Video props not being what i wanted
Rough ideas for some of my shots and back ups if I’m unable to get what I want , I bought another ski mask / balaclava however it doesn’t look how I want it to fully as it’s smaller than I thought as shown in photo below.
